The Healing Power of Hypnosis

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic all my sessions are currently being held remotely.

Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness involving relaxation, heightened concentration and focused attention. During hypnosis, people are able to access levels of awareness, memory and creativity not available in the normal waking state.

Hypnosis is highly effective in changing maladaptive behavior patterns and getting rid of, or reducing symptoms. There is extensive research showing the effectiveness of hypnosis for getting rid of bad habits, coping with chronic pain, as well as providing relief for functional disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome. It is also a powerful tool for developing more effective problem-solving and coping strategies.

Lorna McKenzie-Pollock uses a collaborative approach, gently guiding her clients toward a fresh way of looking at the world.
